Blessing of the Car Keys. For youth, receiving a driver's license is a rite of passage that marks a whole new level of independence and freedom. In celebration of this momentous event, these youth take part in the church service and the pastor speaks a word of blessing over them and prays for God’s protection and guidance along every mile that is driven.
