Every 8am service has a lector- a person to read the scripture passages on Sunday morning. If you join this team, you will probably be asked to read once every couple of months.
You will receive the readings during the week. Please practice reading the passage two or three times outloud. Reading it outloud is different than reading it to yourself. This will give you an opportunity to know the pacing and pause points in the reading.
Skills needed: A willing Spirit and to be wiling to read in front of other people.
